About

Mercédesz Lajos is an expert in international relations and diplomacy, linguist, and businesswoman. She speaks 9 languages and studied in 5 different countries at world-renown universities across the globe. 

Mercédesz holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Lingusitics and International Studies from the University of Salamanca and a Master’s Degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from the University of Pompeu Fabra in Spain. 

She was an exchange student at Bellarmine University in Kentucky, United States, at the Moscow State University in Russia, at La Sorbonne Univeristy in Paris, France and at La Sapienza University in Rome, Italy. 

After graduation, she conducted her traineeship at the European Parliament, in Brussels, in the Directorate General for the Presidency. There she was part of Protocol Unit of the Parliament where she organised the visits of high-level politicians, such as Prime Ministers, Presidents, diplomats and members of inter-parliamentary delegation as well as official events and solemn ceremonies. Among others, she participated in the visit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to the European Parliament. 

She also worked in the Hungarian delegation of European Parliament where she assisted a member of the parliament in the Foreign Affairs (AFET) and Security and Defense (SEDE) committees. She travelled to 6 missions to Strasbourg, where she participated in the preparatory works of the plenary sessions of the parliament. 

Currently, she is a serial entrepreneur and CEO of multiple international companies in the fields of marketing and eCommerce. She specializes in Direct Response Marketing and copywriting, working with international clients and in-house brands.

Mercédesz aims to use her knowledge and experience to inspire others to follow their dreams and maximise their potential.
